This numbers matching XK 140 MC FHC is a great candidate for restoration, and it has wonderful patina of originality. Well cared for and kept mostly in its original condition, it would be an easy candidate to restore. This Jaguar was in storage for over 20 years as part of a collection of cars in dry storage. SE is the performance model, which comes with a MC head, high compression engine, and dual exhaust. This Jaguar was originally Pearl Grey, with Dark Blue interior with grey piping as noted by its Heritage Certificate and is currently Maroon with a Black interior. It is accompanied by a California title and the car is 99% complete. It has its original wood dash and trim. The interior is serviceable as is and features an original period Blaupunkt AM radio. There is minor damage to the wood on the driver's side that would take a small amount of repair to make really nice. We purchased this car for the purpose of performing a show driver restoration. We are currently booked for an extended amount of time in our restoration facility. However, we could fit this into our schedule if you decide to have us restore it. If not sold, we will eventually restore this vehicle ourselves at a future determined time. We are able to take this car to one of our levels of restoration, which are driver, show/driver, or show car level. This car is for sale as is. Any restoration work will be an additional cost if desired. This original XK 140 would appeal to not only the Jaguar collector, but would be a great first time Jaguar for any connoisseur.
