TVR Chimaera 500 - 1997 (P/P) - Polar Silver Convertible



This fabulous Chimaera 500 is only one of 600 made by TVR and can be identified by the purple coloured rocker covers and 'Griffith style' Alloy wheels. They are the most desirable of the Chimaera's built with levels of performance close to that of the Griffith 500 whilst retaining greater practicality.

This 1997 example was purchased by the current owner from TVR dealer Portfields in Chichester in March 1998 when it was 11 months old and has since only covered 46,000 miles from new with a Full Service History. It is finished in the lovely Polar Silver Metallic with Navy Blue/Grey Leather upholstery and Beige carpets, Blue Soft Top, Electric Windows/Mirrors/Door opening, Alarm/Central Locking, Stereo/CD Player, Power Steering, Walnut Dashboard, 4,988cc V8 Fi Engine, 5 Speed Gearbox, Limited Slip Differential and original Alloy Wheels.

These cars are simply fabulous to drive and the '500' will reach 60mph in 4.1 seconds and achieve a top speed of 169 mph! This example has been very well cared for by the last owner and is in very nice condition throughout with impeccable paintwork and is mechanically A1. Just MOT'd and will be serviced upon sale.

The number plate is not included in the sale price, but can be purchased with the car for an additional sum!
