1932 Austin 7 RN Saloon
This delightfully original Austin 7 RN Saloon was first registered on the 20th July 1932. JY 646 retains its original 'buff' logbook, original colours and registration mark. The RN was the first saloon on the long wheel base chassis. The bodywork was of pressed steel with a raised waistline and doors were wider, without the wheel arch encroaching upon them.
Our very charming example is a lovely driver with a strong, great sounding engine. JY 646 is great fun on the road and is a real pleasure to drive. The bodywork and paint are of a very good standard with only minor imperfections expected on a vehicle that has not needed any paintwork for some time. The car presents well and the paint has a lovely, deep shine. The inside of the car is delightful with beautifully aged upholstery that does have a nice patina.
